OM73111 is a synchronous boost converter with an input voltage of 0.7V-5.5V and an output voltage of 1.8V-5.5V. The device has an ultra-low quiescent current of 150nA and achieves high-efficiency operation by automatically switching between PSM and PWM modes. The device can provide power solutions for portable devices powered by Li-Mn batteries, NiMH batteries, and Li-ion batteries.
The device can be set to a force pass through state or a true disconnection state when EN is low. The true disconnection state can minimize unnecessary current drawn from the battery in shutdown mode and extend the effective working time of the battery. The force pass through state provides more flexibility for normally-on systems.
The device features optional fast load transient performance.
The device has comprehensive protection functions such as input undervoltage lockout, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
The OM73111 is available in WLCSP packages and is rated for a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
