The OM9901-61 is a Quad Band GSM/GPRS Multi-Mode Transmit Module. The front end module integrates high performance CMOS PA and controller block. Internal 50 Ω matching, and harmonic filtering circuit are integrated on-chip eliminating the needed for external components, simplifying layout and reducing board space. The device is packaged in a small LGA package (3.0 mm x 3.5 mm x 0.629 mm Typical).
The power amplifier blocks, the controller and the passive components are mounted by flip-chip package technology on a multi-layer laminate substrate. The entire assembly is encapsulated with plastic over mold.
